About Cheryl Jones

Cheryl Jones is a proud native Texan from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  She grew up in the Dalworth Community in Grand Prairie, is a bi-centennial graduate of Grand Prairie High School, a recent 1st Generation Dallas College Graduate, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.   She is a woman of faith in God through Jesus, who is her strength and her guide.  Her children and grandchildren are her greatest joy, and life would not be complete without her grand-pets, Ezzy, Dutch Prescott, yes after Dak, and Minty.  Family is Cheryl's greatest asset!

Cheryl loves music of all genres, but the 70s are her absolute favorite.  She loves travel, good food with great wine, card and board games – she is super competitive at heart, but usually a graceful loser - and she loves all things water.  Her ideal place of tranquility is watching a sunset over a body of water; specifically the San Diego Marina, but Lake Ray Hubbard is the next best thing.

Cheryl is a long-time resident of Garland.  She is a member of the Neighborhood Association and has served as President, Membership Director, and chaired the Nominating Committee. She attends Gateway Church Plano Campus, supports Union Gospel Mission (UGM) Women’s Campus, the North Texas Food Bank, and other charitable organizations.

Cheryl is known for her caring spirit and desire to serve others.
